Part of my job is to attempt to locate family members of Mexican Citizen or gain access to the Mexican Consulate to assist notify family members in Mexico of a fatality. Has been my experience that very poor customer service is received.
Does the Mexican consulate go to different cities with-in the Los Angeles area and provide services at that location? Such as renewal of passports and so on? I've been told they go to stores or other business and provide services there. Any information will help. Thank you!

If your grandparents life's are in danger they can claim political asylum in the United States, Canada, UK, or any EU country. They can either go to the embassy or claim asylum when they arrive in the country. These are websites that I found for political asylum. One is from the United States and one is from the UK.
