To the Public
Sir/Madam
In France there are rules governing the appointment and functions of sworn translators. They are appointed by TGI or Cour d'appel of their residential area. These rules say that if a sworn translator is not available in a foreign country
the translations by an officer gpverned by the rules of the said country are admissible, In India there are advocates/notaries empowered by The Notaries Act 1952 to attest translations, In such circumstances it is not fair to discard the services of Indian advocate/notaries and direct the public of UTI of Pondicherry to contact the sworn translators residing in France and also the Alliance francaise. Please comment. Yours sincerely,
C,Kichenamourty, Advocate/translastor francophone,

Madam,
Both your parents were born in Pondicherry in the year 1952 and 1957 respectively, You have to study their condition on 16,08,1962, date of dejure transfer of french India into indian Union. They were both minors, If their fathers were french citizens born in Fr.India and opted to conserve the french nationality for them and for their minor children, your parents will be French by filiation,
Yours sincerely,
Kanimozhi
