Your father is an ancien combattant. Some persons like your father, got registered their name in the Association of ancien combattants in Pondicherry. With the certificate as ancien combattant amd other relevant service papers, they are getting a secours through the CGF at Pondicherry. Yours sincerely

on 16.08.1962, date of merger of Fr, India into Indian Union, you were a minor aged 12 years. If your parents were french citizens and if your father was not alive. your mother, should have made a declaration of option in the CGF at Pondicherry by including your name to conserve the french nationality. In such a case, you can claim for CNF. Yours sincerely,

1-10-22 months time, because of the large number of pending applications and the time required to verify foreign etat civil papers.

I wish to state that I'm a Pondicherrian. My father born in Karaikal, Pondicherry in 1921 and my mother born in Karaikal, Pondicherry in 1932. I was born in 1950 in Karaikal, Pondicherry. Please tell me whether I'm eligible to apply french nationality.

My Grandfather was born on 1940 in Pondicherry and my grandmother was born in Tamilnadu. He studied in french school and that record had been taken to France. Can you please, insist me the procedure to be the french nationality.
