Bien sincerement

Sir,
We cannot go on with piecemeal information without seeing the records and waste our time. If your paternal grand father did not opt, he will loose his french nationality and become Indian w.e.f 16.08.1962. Your father, if born in French India before 16.08.1962, will follow the condition of his father ie Indian. Yours sincerely

French Nationality
Sir,

My father's case was same as Abusuhud. He was born on 02.07.1962 and was not registered the option. But my grandmother was from Tamil nadu and married my grandfather in pondicherry. So she got the French nationality. We have her french nationality certificate with us. My father's younger brothers applied for french nationality and acquired it. Since my grandmother is a french citizen, is there any chance for my father to get the french nationality if applied.

Thanks & regards,
Mukilan Dominique...
