NH21???? now in Boa !
There are an apparent lot of connections between Cabomaxo (look at Directors)(SAL) and now NH21 dealing in REAL Estate (lets hope its more "real"than the shambles in SAL).
Amazing how Companies with similiar? Directors can "move on" and create yet more real estate on another island when there is almost certainly very mush UNFINISHED business on the Island of SAL.
I am still waiting for a date for my application for an injunction to be heard got a "temporary" injunction (2 years ago) never ever heard of this before, surely it defeats the whole object of the exercise.
Well done C.V. by allowing this sort of operation you are not coming across as very helpful in the Judicial circle.

Cape Verde legal system
Does one exist?

Like the other poster here, I have been waiting over two years for the court to even set a date for a hearing against Cabomaxo.

Cabomaxo Lda
Well needless to say it would appear that NOBODY in Cape Verde has read my comment(s) on this site not even the Honorary Consulate,so where does one post real concerns on the current legal position on our "investments" in C.V. or is the current "system" unable to deal with "investors" who appear to be able to dictate "their" existence in Cape Verde using their Spanish credentials to be embraced as"THE" investors but using our monies to do so.
What shame will eminate from this travesty?
Cape Verde Judiciary please apply JUSTICE in this matter.

Cabomaxo Lda still going
It is three months since my last posting regarding "progress" in the matter of Cabomaxo Lda apparently having carte Blanche I spite of The British Honorary Consulate,s intervention in trying to speed matters up , I might add that the Honorary Consulate is not at fault in the matter but I am deeply concerned that Cabomaxo Lda, in spite of their indebtedness to the Bank (s) and us as Investors, are still allowed to continue their business, and worse than that there is NOBODY telling us what is going on so no transparency which is not acceptable under any commercial law or may be Cape Verde is exempt? I am equally concerned as to whether Cabomaxo Lda ever had any "operational Company activity in Cape Verde or was it all transacted from Fuerteentura which does not come under Cape Verdean law, thus allowing a "scam"? There are questions to be answered here but the problem who do you ask and who is going to answer these questions on the dissipation of our assets.

Cabomaxo Lda AGAIN!
It is now ONE AND A HALF YEARS since I posted my comments regarding our "never will see apartment(s)" and now looks less likely see our money again either.
It really is time that both the Government and the Judiciary of Cape Verde effect more controls over foreign developers giving a bad name to Cape Verde and the Judiciary enforcing the full force of the Law where the aggrieved can instigate proceedings and seek
recourse with the minimum of delaying tactics by the developer.
What has the developer done with all the investors (about 120 of them) money?
The land lies dormant and the Bank want their money because they have a debenture but I dont.
Why is a Company with obvious deficiencies in business acumen allowed to prevaricate for some six years now and seemingly answerable to nobody.
Do they have "other" interests in Cape Verde and perhaps gives them licence to do as they choose?.
Its time for the Cape Verdean Government to show that they are willing to ensure that Companys act in a manner that is conducive to attracting investment to the country.
I would implore the Government take appropriate actions to ensure that these unsavoury activities by foreign nationals are not allowed to be seen to be promoted or encouraged.

Buying "off plan" in Cape Verde
I would like to make a comment regarding investing in Cape Verde.
Some six years ago I, and soem 90 others purchased Apartments on Ponta Preta Sal and to date NOTHING to show for my investment.
Unfortunately even though we purchased thorugh Red Mountain (based in Fuerteventura) all monies went to Cape Verde to the Developer "Cabomaxo Lda" who are to say the least both elusive and evasive.
Why are there no International Laws to prevent this sort of conduct?
The Judicial system in C.V. is slow so any court action will be a long drawn out affair.
Do you have any similiar experiences with developers in C.V.
