Any information on Cabomaxo ?
Would anyone who purchased off plan from Cabomaxo Lda their Esmeralda Beach/ Ponta Preta site happen to know the name of the Notary Public that witnessed the contracts of sale.
Any information would be greatly appreciated.

No News Good news?
Still nothing happens in Cape Verde.
Would love to know if our case against Cabomaxo Lda will ever get off the first step of the Court House in Cape Verde.
Heard through the grapevine a few weeks ago that "things were happening very delicate position" is this a joke?
Only its a very expensive one at the investors expense.
Forwarded my info to Action Fraud in U.K. in the matter of NDR and Morgan Stanley being interested in buying us out some years ago!

Cabomaxo Lda
Recently e mailed Minister of Justice in Cape Verde and guess what? Not even the decency of a reply.
So it would appear that if the Minister cannot reply to my query then little hope of this matter going forward to the Court in Cape Verde.
Meanwhile Francisco Ufano Polo the original Director is denying any responsibility and residing in sunny Fuerteventura "far from the maddening crowd".
Would love to hear about Neville de Rougemont (Solicitors acting for Cabomaxo\Esmeralad investors) progress in the matter.
Anybody hear anything?
Love to hear!

Well , here we are in May 2014 (at least we are still alive).
Heard from our esteemed Solicitor in C.V. that we now have a "full" Injunction registered against Cabomaxo LDA only problem is where does it go from here, our Solicitor has not told us where it goes from here ( I will give you her address if you need a "slow" process)
Now the biggest problem is that from my investigations on Cabomaxo the original Director is no longer a Director but is swanning about in Fuerteventura, the current Director is swanning about in Fuerteventura, with NO Director in Cape Verde with a registered "company" but no office in C.V and never had.
It is apparent that these Directors choose non EU countries to ply their trade without any constraints or Laws to protect those peoples monies that they took from a lot of investors from all over Europe.
Of course Cape Verde both need and welcome foreign investment but on the same and they should not turn a blind eye to practice's that are not compliant.
More to follow .

Cabomaxo just goes on and on................
Well here we are in June 2014 and can you believe it? Absolutely Nothing has progressed in the matter of Cabomaxo and OUR monies.
Got to Lisbon but unfortunately it was a Bank Holiday so unable to try and speak to the Bank there about Cabomaxo being allowed to continue trading as a Company in spite of its "status" and should not be trading.
Did, however establish that Cabomaxo has indeed still got an active account in SAL.
Would be most grateful if someone could inform me of the legal requirement on Company "returns" in Cape Verde, or is this the real reason why Cabomaxo ( along with other associated Company' s of Cabomaxo) like to set up in Cape Verde because there are less restrictive laws and compliance there?
By the way does anyone read any input on this site?
I sent an e mail to the previous mentioned post to all of those named to show there hand otherwise they will have to deal with Spanish Law in Spain for their actions.

Ripped off Investor calls Cape Verdean Judiciary to "get up to date"
Well it seems that I am the only poster/subscriber on this site apart from P.C who has suffered the same plight along with myself (and some 145 others) in the matter of Cape Verde allowing "foreign" Nationals and their bogus Companies to launder funds from Eurpoean Nationals because Cape Verde allows and apparently condones such beheaviour because these Companies bring much neede monies into the country, but in any event it is tantamount to FRAUD and those persons that have been involved in this matter need to be brought to justice. They know who they are, and they should also be aware that after 7 years of looking for the perputrayors of this fraud I have not given up hope of finally bring them to Justice (if not under Cape Verdean Law) then Spanish Law will have the resolve to deal with as all of these people are Spanish, those being Armando Silvera,Paco del Pozo, Ufano Polo, Fabio Nieves, Antonio Newport all administrating their scams from Fuerteventura and mainland Spain. Why cant Cape Verdean Law stop this farce?? I have a "temporary" Injunction for 3 years now by which time Planifaciones Mundiales (Antonio Newport and the others named above have squandered "our" monies by using Cape Verde as a Laundry with the blessing of the Cape Verdean Judiciary (assuming of course that they know of the temporary Injunction).
Well I am seven years older now then when I first fell for the cunning Spanish.By the way I requested a meeting with the Portuguese Bank that has a "charge" on OUR land in Ponta Preta, and guess what? They refused, why are the Bank not foreclosing on this ILLEGAL Company? Because I think that the"Bank" are happy to have monies moved about as long as it stays in Cape Verde (and thats OUR money)and the Land increases in value with NO advantage to the Investors who put the money in the Bank in the first place. All of this of course is WITHOUT PREJUDICE and THEY as named above bury their heads in the sands of Fuerteventura.I think Spanish Law will be competent to resolve,Watch this space.

Well here we are in April 2014 and still no movement in Sal Court but at least we still have our temporary injunction.
It is obvious that you can do what you want under Company law in Cape Verde, but most amazingly nobody has the gumption to respond to my various comments.
Does Company Law exist in Cape Verde? Do Limited Company' s have to submit annual returns?
Would someone like to respond to my comments .
