Special request - Visa
Hi there, my husband works in Africa (Mali). We are going to London in December for a 2 weeks holiday to my son. We have to apply for visas for the UK and my husband only has 2 weeks at home on his off rotation leave which might not be enough time to get the visa. He works away for 6 weeks and is home to 2 - all the time. Sometimes the visas are processed in 5 days but sometimes 15 days I am told and he needs his passport to get back to Mali. Is there anyway in which we can request a visa to be processed in 5 days due to his travelling requirements. I cannot get through to the ukvisa office in Musgrave, only a call centre with pre-recorded info - rather irritating!! Please advise or of a contact at the visa office to whom I may speak to find this out.
Thank you
Paula
