Inconvenience
I have collected my Schegnen Visas from
VFS Global today at 14h10. I have travelled from Johannesburg in traffic. Upon arrival I checked the visas only to see that our surname was spelled incorrectly on my son's visa. I was told only the the Spanish Embassy can rectify the spelling. Because the Spanish Embassy closes at 12h00, I had to go all the way back to Jhb just to go to Pta again next week to change the splelling. Very inconvenient!!!

citrus blackspot
South africa has been exporting oranges with blackspot to europe since 1926. It has been SCIENTIFICALLY proven that blackspot on fruit CAN NOT infect trees! The reason why you spaniards try to stop RSA exporting citrus to EU is because spain, despite huge subsidies are incapable of competing. So you go backstabbing politicalway. SHAME ON YOU COWARDS

Wrong info given!
We are going on a holiday to SPain in September holidays. I worked through the list off documents required for a visa. I saw that children needed unabridged birth certificates. I phoned the embassy and they told me that I need to apply for an unabridged certificate and the payment slip for the unabridged certificates and the birth certificates would be sufficient. I applied for the unabridged certificates and as a extra precaution I got letters from the schools they attend ( this is what the USA, UK and Italian embassy asked for in the past) today we drove 250km and took my kids earlier from school- we were told that they do not except this! We were given wrong information by the Spanish call centre! This is totally unacceptable to me! I now have to get a letter from the hospital my children were born at- I cannot fax this letter but have to take my children out of school another day and bring them back again,! If our trip had not been paid already I would cancel visit to Spain
