profession in training
@Josias Sorry about the delay, you only need to sort out whatever they want and reapply...
May you please clarify what Critical skills did you apply for and what type name of membership did you used ?
also was it for 1yr or 5years ? trying to get the picture of what new criteria they may now be using at Embassy

True they are constantly tightening conditions... I think its more of the "candidate" issue than were u got ur edu frm coz i hv got friends who also got their permits only registered as candidates. The challenge is you only get to know these things wen they reject ur app. Who knows what they will pull up the next time you app

@csvapp
In my field u first register as a professional engineering in training.... U then train under someone already registered to gain ur professional status....

CSV,Board Registration
@csvapp @josias

These embassy people are constantly tightening the screws.

I remember with ECSA (Engineering Council Of South Africa),you could apply for your CSV ,even when registered as a candidate not professional.

I know two guys who got 5 year CSVs and they were registered as candidate technicians.Maybe the advantage is that they studied in SA before because their Engineering Diploma certificates were from SA varsities.

@Josias, sorry about being denied.What does registering for a profession in training mean exactly.

One other thing do you or anyone on this platform know how much money they expect the applicant for CSV to have in their bank account.

Visa Collections Embassy
Morning ,

To those who applied and will be collecting visas from the embassy. I witnessed 4 people being turned away yesterday because they wanted to collect for their relatives. Regardless of how similar you are or there is an affidavit or confirmation letter from the applicant the official made it clear that no one except the applicant should collect the visa and should this continue there is no hesitation in cancelling the Visa.

Where ever you are in the world please make an effort to book and collect yourself. Collections Mondays and Wednesdays.
