Maybe my story might help someone. I studied Bachelor of Computer Science in SA and my internship year was 2015 with the company I still work for. I graduated Cum Laude in May 2016. I did Microsoft Dynamics CRM Certifications in June 2016. I then applied for membership with IITPSA in August. My study permit had expired in December 2016 and that is when I applied for Critical skills permit in Harare as I could not do it in SA. I submitted offer letter from company, Motivation Letter from company, SA bank statements from a relative, SA proof of Accommodation from a relative, my SA Computer science degree, Associate Membership Certificate, CV, Microsoft Dynamics certifications, SA police clearance, Zim police Clearance, Univerity Transcripts. I got a call Friday 19 May and I gave my cousin the original receipt and he collected my permit on my behalf. I was given until 30 April 2022. Good Luck to all those who are still waiting. If you studied in SA, all you need to do is register with your body, the years of experience do not count if you studied in SA

@lilly am sorry about that. Did they take your finger prints when they deported you or any of your particulars? If they do, they might not tek your passport but in th system already they have it tht you will never b allowed to cross beitbridge. In some cases you will be told to pay fine

submitted on 15 Jan 2017, received a call today and collected same day.got a positive response.for those who are still waiting keep on praying.

The estimated time for study visa is indicated as 6-8 weeks. What happens when the time has been exceeded.

Recent publication showed that less than 5percent of all home affairs staff have diploma/degrees. You need to write your cv or letters in detail like you writing to a grade 1.the adjucators have no mental capacity to interpret!

Appeal - Critical Skills Visa
@ Tim thanks for the advice.I actually applied under the Business Analyst category. If I do appeal can I edit my CV to add more business analysis tasks (in my original submission I had added the business analysis tasks I do). Or should my employer add an additional motivation letter for me.

I know everyone thinks their rejection is unfair lol.
