@Pre, i heard that when your old passport has expired and you have a PR, the new passport must indicate Country of Residence as South Africa. In that case you don't need to re-apply for CSV.
Hello guys.. I have a question i need clarity on, suppose you get your PR but then your Zim passport with csv expires in a year... Obviously you wil get a new one bt what happens after?
I have no idea on timelines. Should be 4months based on here lately
MY PASSPORT IS DUE TO EXPIRE HOW MUCH IS A RENEWAL VIA THE EMBASSY TO AVOID ME TRAVELLING BACK TO SOUTH AFRICA ?
@Nyasha, I think the procedure will be writing to DHA for clearance. You need to explain what happened and providing reasons why the ban has to be lifted. DHA will provide you with the letter lifting your undesirability. It is a complicated process which may require help from Legal Experts but they may charge you a good amount of money. Nyasha, google overstay appeals RSA and follow instructions to overturn any ban/prohibition. If you can get legal help to state your case, it will be better because DHA is really strict with breaching immigration law.

Does anyone know if vfs requires a minor to be physically present when applying for their study permit. I have a child doing Grade 7 and would like to apply for S.A study permit, and want to know if they want to see him physically or whether I can submit the application without his presence at the vfs office
Hie i want to know i once deported 4 years back and i lost my passport,,so when i took a new passport i wantd to go to S,A when i reached zim airport so i ddnt knw if evr u gt deportd its a criminal record or my passprt old passprt been used wth someone im not sure,,what must i do to clear myself at sa embassy
