Comments on this Consulate-General
Today's Herald paper revealed the plight of the freedom fighter's children in not getting the Government jobs in Goa that they so desire.
The have put forward their caveat (Warning) that they want Government jobs to be provided to them within the next six months.
So, if they don't get those Government jobs, what are these freedom fighter's children going to do? Revolt? Get into a state of anarchy? Perform satyagraha? Perform hunger strikes? Oust the Government authorities?
This is absurd and not to mention of the irony in this situation!
Probably you can at least check with Emerico/ Elvino Pereira and inquire.
Can this be a genuine issue with the Apostle stamp by MEA ? Yes it was when I was doing my Mom's case in two thousand sixteen June and was also redone quickly. My mom is already in the UK. Your case will come through only check with these guys.
God bless.
Don't wait for twenty twenty. Once twenty twenty approaches, he may give some other excuse.
It is possible that there may have been a stamp issue. But even then, the agent or barrister is supposed to filter out the issue (as was done in my case).
I'd suggest that you meet with Mr Elvino and give him your process number and tell him about your concerns and problem. If he says that he can help you, you may have to take POA again. But then again, he can give you the details.
Yes, actually i couldnt afford to spend again. I know this agent will not refund me if i plan to switch, i thought if these guys competed my first process then I can change my agnet... they say it shud be completed in the mid of Twenty twenty. do you think I should wait? do you know about this agent? Can this be a genuine issue with the Apostle stamp by MEA ?
They should have picked up this issue before sending the documents to Portugal. He must have meant that there was some sort of issue with the apostlle stamp/ sticker given by the MEA. Did you resend the documents when you were told to?
I can suggest Emerico/ Elvino Pereira if you're in Goa as I've heard that Mr Elvino is good for helping clear cases which are stuck. Here's their website link: http://goanportuguesepassport.com/
Mr. Emerico has his office in Benaulim and Elvino, in Patto, Panjim. It's better if you meet Mr. Elvino and explain the whole case to Mr. Elvino and he should be able to help you.
By the way, you really shouldn't have waited that long to begin questioning as to the veracity of the agent's response on your case. Cases from two thousand and sixteen are already finished in pre nineteen sixty one cases.
Dear Ezekiel,
I have started my process in Twenty Sixteen and still first process is not completed. after about Eighteen months down the agent asked for all docs again stating there were error in stamping by MEA or stamping has changed or something. everytime i call the agent they tell me that its in the queue and asks me to wait its been close to four yrs... im not sure what to do. all those started with me are in UK.
Agent im working with are from aldona (Frazer and Veena) and they run "https://goansandportuguesenationality.blogspot.com/"
please guide me further.. im totally upset.. thank you. God bless.
Today, Goa celebrates its so called "liberation" from the Portuguese who ironically are endeavouring to provide a better life to Goans via providing their citizenship and all the blessings that go along with it, to them. Apparently, we got liberated, only to be taken over by another force and ruled over by them. We never became a separate state of our own, like Hong Kong.
In summary, after decades of annexation or liberation, Goa had degraded more than it is upgraded. The question we must ask is, "Is this what the people of Goa (not India) wanted?" The answer is well demonstrated in action, by the many Goans' choice of acquiring Portuguese citizenship.
Did you submit additional documents?
If everything is in order, then there isn't need to worry. As I said, it mainly depends if there is good evidence for your case. Each case is different. Some may have poor evidence while others may have better evidence.
Thanks for the help. Couple of lawyers who I spoke to mentioned it can take upto several years as the city I’m born in has no website open to the public for online birth verification. However everything else is in order. Is that true ? Because you mentioned it can take upto a few weeks more ?
