Jess and Ezekiel
Jess: You are correct, they should have checked my documents before submission. If my application is back in the queue I don't know when my first registration will be completed. I gave my file to Veena/Wesley of PNFG consultancy. Is anyone in the same situation with this consultancy??

Ezekiel: Thanks for the information on stuck cases. I am considering to change my agent now.

Just a question to everyone, why does the agent deny to share the process no. I feel it could be because of
- The application is never submitted, that mean you are on a ride
- The application may have been submitted in Goa. Looking at the case no. can anybody say whether the application was submitted in Goa or Portugal??

Its extremely important that we share all such details in an open forum where everybody have access so that no one is taken for a ride by some fake agency.

If other lawyers say there’s no file in your name, there’s a chance he hasn’t submitted your case at all.
Other lawyers can find your process number by Name, Date of Birth and Place of Birth.
You can try emailing registos.centrais@irn.mj.pt and rcentrais.diversos@irn.mj.pt with your details and ask them if there’s a case submitted. There’s a chance they might reply.

You have no class dude. You seem frustrated for some reason. I wish you all the best and hope whatever’s frustrating you is somehow resolved.

Process Number
Jess
He is Brian from Excellence Services.
He always targets NRI clients and will
just not share the process number. I too did not know about all this in the beginning when I started my process.
I’ve asked other agents/ lawyers to check if my file is in CRC by paying them but they have said no file is in my name.

John or whoever you are.
Voicing your frustrations on us Goans solves nothing for you nor does it influence Portugal to do anything for you. The consulate general doesn't operate this website. You're just squandering your precious time and demonstrating your uncouth character and demeanour to whoever comes to this site.
Using ad hominem attacks on any of us isn't going to do you any good either.

Process numbers and stuck cases
Whenever application is made for birth to the CRC, a process number is issued. This number has to be given to the applicant by the agent or barrister. Do boycott any agent/ barrister that would refuse to give the process number prior to making payments and starting the process.

For cases that are stuck, I can suggest Elvino Pereira if you're in Goa. Here's their website link: http://goanportuguesepassport.com/

If you're in Portugal or the UK, you can contact their partner: https://www.npadvogados.com/

In Portugal, you can alternatively contact Bernardo Reis:

Saudades,
Com os melhores cumprimento,

I presume you mean the consulate of Portugal in Goa. Goa doesn't have a Portuguese embassy.

Here are the email addresses:
goa@mne.pt
consulado.goa@mne.pt

When I contacted the consulate general in twenty sixteen and seventeen, I used the second one, to which I did get replies.

It's hard to say, because when I submitted my father's baptism certificate in twenty seventeen, it was accepted by my barrister and eventually his birth was registered. Your barrister should be knowing about this. I don't know if things have changed in this matter in twenty nineteen.
