Nigerian Consulate Atlanta Experience.
It is very unfortunate we have this style of management in most Nigerian offices every where. All these officials have two years to serve in their capacities. Within two years, it is grab as much as you can in private businesses. They are paid in dollars and most of the time, they spend their allowances and claims. I took my mom's passport to them for renewal,
I had the same type of service. They don't care and nobody takes responsibility for their behavior.

Not Truthful
Why are we not helpful to others? I visited the embassy in Atlanta just to renew my passport but met very, very, VERY rude species of BEING. Do they think that they are mini gods or what?? I left from Dallas to Atlanta, finished my transaction and took the last flight back but was greatly disappointed. Please God, direct another group of people to this embassy because the ones here are very lousy and unhelpful, they ARE just pure evil and mean.

We have lost FOCUS and been swallowed wanting to be like OthERS
As a a matter of fact, we are disoriented, lost focus, indiviguality, self esteem, selfishness, paying others with the way we were treated when we first arrived.

Demanding for worship from those we helped, running after money, forgetting our root (Nigeria) have lead to our ever backward situation in this country.

We lack trust for ourselves, we are spiritually divided, we sell ourselves to gain fame and friendship.

The Mexicans, Kuwaties, Irish, Samoans, Ethopians, Kenyans are coming up stronger heading for the TOP, we are continouosly trading ourselves for menial jobs and positions.

Our only way out is to remember what we faced before we left our country and find a way to break even and build a better future for ourselves and our future generation. Becoming a Citizen is not a solution to our ROOT national problems.

We need to wake up and open our eyes, if we dont, we are preparing more sleeping beds for our kids and asking them to have more sleeping hours, then poverty is the end of our journey to this land.

Let us remove pride, hatred, division, selfiness, idea of paying back, useless competitions and look back for once at where we are coming from and help ourselves.

Only us can help us...have a nice read.
