Nigeria Consulate ATLANTA
Passport renewal/replacement at Nigerian Consulate Atlanta is ONLY for Nigerians who doesn't need their passport in 3months.They will collect ur application and your old passport and delay you for another 3months. Nobody will pick your call if you call any number you see on their website.they have bunch of dudes who manage their web so you cannot get any attention/response to your twitter or emails. This will frustrate you from experience.

It is rather unfortunate that nobody picks up the phone at the Atlanta office. They direct you to a voicemail that you don't even know it is a voicemail with only the name Rose, and Rose never picks up. Please beg whoever is called Rose to represent Nigeria well. This is unbelievable, a WHOLE CONSULATE . NIGERIA WE HAIL THEE OUR OWN DEAR NATIVE LAND, to think we just celebrated 100years as a country

I agree that they are very rude. Even their answering machine is rude. Try calling the number and press 9 for the operator and hear the operator just say his name so quickly halfway the first ring (mind u, he has a deep voice too). If you have never had to go thru the operator to talk to someone, trust me, that answering machine will catch you off guard. I was like, "oowkayy, what am i supposed to do". I didn't even know i was being recorded. Immediately, it reminded me of how rude they were when I went there a couple of years ago. It is crazy, u think America will change the way Nigerians act. But they bring that nasty oppressing attitude from Nigeria. They know nothing about customer service. They all need to be removed and hire a new group of people who love the work they are doing. Just saying....

Nigerian Passport Renewal!
Attention: Nigerian Consular Representatives
Consular Section,
Embassy of Nigeria,
3519 International Court, NW,
Washington, DC. 20008

Dear Representatives:

Subsequent to the information that was released by the Nigerian community in Dallas, TX via an email address that The Consulate-General of Nigeria, Atlanta, would be involved in Nigerian passport intervention exercise from 15-18 November, 2013 at Garland Convention Center, 1931 East Centerville Road Garland, Texas 75041; I am trying to verify in order to avoid a charge of duplication of the possession of a Nigerian passport as I may need to re-apply for a new Nigerian passport soon. However, the original passport that was issued to me in Nigeria that facilitated my trip with the British Airways from Lagos, Dec. 30, 1999 to Dallas, Dec. 31, 1999 had since been missing arising from an ugly development at St. Mortiz Apartment, Arapaho Road Dallas, TX in July 2006.

The Nigerian passport which was renewed with the Nigerian consulate office at Washington D.C in 2004 or 2005 cannot be traced at this point because there is no any document with me presently to prove the documentation information on it or the control numbers on the passport. Please be assured that this incident was duly reported to Dallas Police Department, Dallas, TX aftermath the incident at St. Mortiz, Apartment, Dallas, TX with an incident number issued to me.

Please advise appropriately if I can safely apply for a new Nigerian passport at this time and to ensure my renewal effort does not constitute to an effort or an offense leading to duplicate possession of Nigerian passport both now and in the future. Please be assured that I hold a dual citizenship status as both US and Nigerian citizen.

Thank you.

Sincerely,

Martins O. Adegoke
