sad day
this is a very sad day both for these two reformed humans and a very sad day for Indonesia as well.
there are no winners here ,they have lost their lives Indonesia has lost the contribution these two souls made to the prison system.

but the biggest tragedy from this execution is Indonesia has shown they have no compassion for human life..

these two men should have been sent back to Australia.

i hope that there is no back lash ....for Indonesia.not shot to death....

may their souls rest in peace....

Have mercy ...
Dear President Widodo,

I understand that Indonesia has the right to execute its criminals. Given that both Abdrew Chan and Myuran Sukumaran have been reformed successfully in your prison, and were contributing positively to the inmates, please show mercy to them so that they can continue to help the fellow inmates.

It took 10 years for them to become who they are now. I don't understand what will be achieved by executing 2 good young men who have proven themselves to be valuable to the society, despite their past mistakes.

Please have mercy on them. They deserve a second chance.

Sincerely,
Yong

Beyond Belief
indonesia, you are "beyond belief". Your decision to escort Andrew and Myuran's plane with fighter jets shows the measure of your intelligence. Really?? Did you expect these men to have pre planned an elaborate escape? I too will be boycotting EVERYTHING Indonesian. Such stubbornness and cruelty won't be forgotten. I hope Australia stops all aid to Indonesia immediately.

To all the people who live in Australia that represent the Indonesian Government I say Please Leave, you are no longer welcome here, I do not want people who represent this barbaric murderous government here in our country, I do not want you too have the right or privalige to live here, I do not want you too share in what we have here , I want you to leave and go back to your corrupt, hypocritical, morally bankrupt, hate riddled, country you are not welcome , please leave.

Double standards
Indonesia you are acting with cruelty and inhumanity. Your reputation in the world will sink further into deep disrespect. Your president is behaving like an egotistical maniac. For sure these executions have nothing to do with Law but more to do with him trying to flex muscle and show the world he is "somebody" when in fact it shows us all he is nobody.
Your government paid bribes to save your own countrymen from similar executions yet you forget this now.
I will never visit your country - I will boycott anything to do with your country and I will never again give to foreign aid or charitable causes in times of your need.
These men were boys when they committed their crimes- crimes that, had they been arrested on Australian soil would have seen them serve their sentences- and so they should-
They were pawns in the world drug game - young people with nothing much in the way of life or promise and so preyed upon with the knowledge that youth and uncertainty would allow them to be enticed into bad ways -
They could be my boys - your boys . Anyone of us who has children and knows the difficult times that surround bringing young people successfully through to adulthood -
In short Good people do bad things - they served 10 years in jail - let that be punishment enough- both have turned their lives to helping others - to helping Indonesians - let them be rewarded for that.
The world and history will show that you are making a terrible mistake, a mistake for which I hope the world communities judge you most harshly .
You are showing yourselves to be incapable of laying on the world stage and are now little more than barbarians.

Murder
I have had a strong relationship with indonesia in the past, unfortunately this perceived strength you are trying to show to the world, is weakness and despicable act, what you are are doing is what IS is doing you should have them in orange jump suits on bended knees and behead them, it would be more humane and probably quicker for myself i will never visit your country again and i will never buy any of your products Again, i also believe in Karma i hope their death is your downfall.

Execution is not the answer
In every healthy human heart it is known that killing is wrong. There is so much monstrous killing in the world already, why do you feel the need to spread more evil. Compassion, mercy and fairness is required. Don't execute any of these drug smugglers it is simply wrong. You are a cruel government and I will never step foot in your country again. Shame on you Indonesia.

Finish of comment. Execution will give the signal, internationally, that there is no hope after turning one's life away from wrongdoing.Yes,appropriate punishment is needed. To take a life after rehabilitation is itself a contradiction and a serious misuse of human justice.
