Short term visa to france
My brother and his wife have submitted the application form for short term visa to france at VFS Chennai. Its almost been more than 40 days since they submitted the application form and we do not receive any update till now. Can you pls tell us the reason.

Your children and you should apply for indian exit visa with special permit to stay for some time in India till your departure to France. You should also immediately surrender your Indian passport, if any, to the concerned passport authority in Chennai or elsewhere, in India, to the concerned officer.
