Did u do drop box, interview or through an agent?
I would love to visit my families in mississauga and cambridge this april during my vacation from work and I don't wanna be denied :(

Can't you all see! If you were criminals, you would have gotten through! I applied for a visitor's visa and gotten through. I visited their country and came back home. Then the visa expired. My husband and I applied for visitor's visa in September 2012. We were turned down in December 2012. They told us we don't have enough asset. I have a job, my car,our house,our land and sufficient funds in the bank. The person who sponsored us is a prominent businessman. BUT, persons that I know that are known criminals applied and got through!! I am comfortable in my country. I just want to explore other cultures. Why should I want to live in an icebox!?
people in Jamaica are applying for visa under a scam 99% of these individual are buying certificate stating that they are qualified to live and work in Canada this is not true this scam is mostly coming out of Montego bay St James Jamaica,prices start from $50,000 Jamaican depending on what qualification you want,person applying for Canada work visa should be able to show at-least 6 months recipes from the school and a letter from the principal and 3 teacher it is unfair for people who are well qualified to be denied and people who can't even read getting visa.
I have read most of the comments and this is my input: They are all negative comments the staff are working with guidelines which they have to follow just like us in our various jobs now we know system and that during the holidays a lot of us wait until last minute to submit our documents, I know that the embassy state a time period for visa. Comments like these makes it bad for us.
I am a government employee here in Canada and my partner and I summitted all requested documents for my partner to come here. The invitation letter was for December 2012, would you believe these people waited until today January 28, 2013 to reply And as you all know, he was denied. All that wasted money the anxiety of the wait. Smh its the worst system ever. Now I have to spend over a $1000 to go there. Its a sin what they do to people. It definitely a money making thing.
Sent my passport for PR visa as directed since oct 2012.No news up to date Jan 2013
I agree with everyones anger towards the immigration system period....i filed for a visiting visa for my husband and denied because they figured he wouldnt return....next tried to sponser him...denied because of a technical error...after 19 months in total...now again put the papers back in and paid all over again and still waiting to here on the canadian side since november 2012...the system is a joke....how can these people sleep at night knowing they are stressing people out and ruining peoples lives...??? i have been married 4 years and still alone...it sux!
Does it make sense to leave a comment? Still nothing gonna be done. Until God step in, which is going to happen very soon. Poor people cries are going up to him.
i applied in nover 27 to the embassy for a visitors visa for me and wife + child we done exactly what the site asks for,we submitted all our house papers, wife is going to school now, all job letters, banks statements, car titles all assets that we had and belive u me we were so confident that were going to get the visa..on january 5 in the new year the 3 passports return no visa, i almost fainted, our family in canada submitted to us to give them all their bank stattements, jobs letters tax deductions and their citezenship yet the enbassy says we dont have enough assets n dont think we are not coming back when we go canada..hahahhahaha i just laugh we all have our us visas we dont violate yet these people take our hard earn 400 usd for themselves then tell us we dont have enough assets so they dont think we coming back if we go canada , they are crazy i can tell u its just a waste of time and hard earn cash..ill leave you for time u damn embassy red neck staff
my father have bein filin for me for some years now and hes not gettin a good respond
