visa refusal
I have apply for a visitor visa in 2016 and was refused. I have been working for the government for thirteen years, I own my property and house. I have one child. My sent me a invitation letter. The paper that I received from the embassy states that.i will not leave Canada at end of my stay, travel history, personal assets and financial status, don't have sufficient funds including income or assets.my son is there so will they say now. I see people who don't have a job no income and get Canada visa. Life is unfair to the hard working people who want to visit their family and can't get a visa. Sad.

Concerned mother
I writing seeking some form of advice I have a child he resides in jamaica and I'm currently in the United states, his father wants to file for him however I refuse his request because frankly I don't trust him taking my son to another country I have no access to. I'm very concerned that he might try forge documents and take my son from jamaica without me knowing I have contacted the Canadian embassy in jamaica and I'm yet to hear a response back and this is a urgent matter. Any advice would be appreciated.

Submitting childrens passports
Received our final letters for pr. The letter states our children must bring their passports to embassy within 30 days, along with photos and description of height and eye colour. Seems straight forward, the confusion is the lettrr indicates DO NOT BRING THEM IN PERSON. But the paragraph prior to that says, you can submit in person or bg mail courier?? So confused... my husband is here in canada already? It says the dependants passports should be submittef with theirs? I know these are template letters.. but they are very contradicting. My concern is making sure we get the kids items to Kingston etc... they are currently in montego bay .. and will travelto kingston . ..but dont want them to waste time od money getting there. We already did this wkth submission of vlearances. Everyone is not on the same page ....

Family Sponsorship
I did my interview on March 7th and was told my application was successful, I submitted my passport then and it's now almost 3 months and I've heard nothing. My wife and I are becoming very frustrated by length of the processing and lack of information
