Comments on this Embassy
I visited the Embassy in jan this year and was very disappointed and felt that as a South African citizen i was badly treated i re visited the same embassy in March and now have a total different regard the lady was very helpful and i think the problem lies with us as we do not understand the requirements I applied visa for my wife and submitted all required documents and will be getting my visa on the 9th April The lady has rules to follow so let us support her by understanding the requirements and that make it easy for everyone
Thanks to Miss Custodio
i invite my neice here in swaziland to be a bridesmaid of my wedding. she got visitor visa for swaziland and required a transit visa to come here...she apply and complete the requirements e.i. yellow vaccine and etc. after that they said wait for the call or email and until now she still waited and frustrated.the system that they have in philippines is sucks.which compare here in swaziland south africa high commision which they give us date when gonna return and they don't accept incomplete requirement so it easy to know that you don't wait for nothing.
The embassy are not organize, before i file my visa i email and try to call them many times to clarify somethings but you will only receive one mail and thats all, my second bad experience in this embassy was they made me wait for 1 week and it turns out that they did not process my paper yet because i need my cenomar, for one week they made me wait for nothing and they dont even bother to call or email me to inform that i only need one more requirement. Now that i pass everything they needed, they just tell me that they will just call me, don't come, i will just call you, now i'm trying to contact them for some questions as usual no answer the phone and yes also the email.
Good day! My SA partner and I are planning to marry this year, He's been here several times, and I've been to Cape Town way back 2012 for a vacation with no problem with visa processing, thanks to Ms. Custodio who assisted me and help me comply with all the necessary requirement. Now I want to know about the Legal Capacity to marry which my partner will need for us to apply a licence, hes coming back this May for a 21 day R&R and for our wedding, how can we acquire that Legal capacity or letter of no impediment, will he need to go to embassy im makati once here or must he get it fro their home affairs in SA? Your reply will be very much appreciated.
please hired a new security guard, the guard'surname was DIVINA he was very very, bad, he not doing the right, thing he also the one who making applicant, terible on filing documents for visa application.
Martin did your gf get the visa after your intervention cause my finaces was refused after we waited 2 weeks for an answer and after several mails which of course were not answered.
Really a disgrace
Yes steve I agree with you .All the good messages here surely comes from the embassy themselves. So SURE of that
I would like to express my gratitude and thanks to the visa section of South Africa Embassy for granting tourist visa for my group without hassle. Especially to Ms. Laila Custodio and the Consul who approved our visa. We understand that if we submit complete visa requirements, the embassy will give you a visa or they will assist you with your lacking documents despite their busy schedule.
