finally!
i am so pleased that "Gina" posted the details/contact information of the people we should contact regarding the SA embassy in Manila. NO MORE COVERING UP (unless these people in the embassy are so desperate for their position to lose their self-respect and shame and send an email to the higher authorities as well and try to cover up their bad treatment to people by pretending to be somebody else AGAIN like what they do here in this site).

People I have question to all of you. I'm just wondering why all the people who wrote nice comments saying thank you to miss Custodio only? Is she the only person work at the embassy? is miss Custodio who process all the visas to south africa? 1 person said her visa was processed in 2 days only this is sound so unbelievable and unrealistic!
I did try to phone the embassy though but the phone just ringing and ringing and then tried again and again, fortunately woman answered * HELLO* and that's it she put the phone down.
If some people said they were badly treated at the embassy and some people said miss Custodio is very nice and very accommodating is this mean that this person miss Custodio have favoritism?
Come on why is like that? Check it out the south african embassy in Thailand, Indonesia, Singapore, Malaysia, Vietnam I don't read bad comments at all!

Thank you Ms. Leila Custodio
I want to share that I am very happy with how my visa application was handled by Ms. Leila. My visa was processed and approved for 2 days only!!! Monday I submitted all my requirements, Thursday I got my visa already. She was very considerate. When I told her that we needed to be there by Saturday, she prioritized my application.
I had to return to the embassy twice though before my visa application could be processed. But it was only because I wasn't able to get the visa application requirement list. I just relied on the advise of a friend who is already in SA with her family. I wonder why the guard cannot just give the list of requirements when people come to the embassy considering that they do not have a website where people can refer to. So that people do need to come back to the embassy just to get the list of requirements.
The guard on the embassy was no ordinary guard I must say. He is not accommodating at all. I thought at first he was just power tripping since he knows people will still come to the embassy even if he is not nice to anyone anyways. Or maybe since he is a guard for an embassy, he is not trained to be nice to people. I don't know. I just didn't like how he literally advises people to go downstairs and wait for their luck. It was annoying that they want people to go up and down since there is not enough chair in the waiting area. Or maybe its just the way he gives instructions that is so annoyingly rude.
I hope that the embassy will have a website where we can just submit our requirements if all is complete, we can then schedule for appointment. So that people don't need to go back many times during the assessment/review. But I guess that will require financial problems which will result to not making the visa application free anymore.
At any rate, I am just so happy to share that Ms. Leila is very tolerant and considerate. Thank you so much! Because of your kind assistance, my husband and I was able to visit the beautiful SA.
I am going to be back to the embassy to claim our bond refund. Hope to get my refund back in no time.
I am looking forward to thanking Ms. Leila personally also.

Helps each other
Hi EVERYONE if you want to send a complaints regarding the inhuman behavior of Ms. Leila Custodio and the security guard; misrepresenting our country of South Africa email to the Minister of Home Affairs, her email address is naledi.pandor@dha.gov.za and the Chief Director Permitting/Visa is Contact Mr Jack Monedi on 083 326 4712 or email: jack.monedi@dha.gov.za

or you can check on the Home Affairs website http://www.dha.gov.za/

To my disbelief I find this website shocking about the South African Embassy in Manila which gives the impression that the embassy is manage solely by Ms. Leila Custodio.
The people who are trying to visit our beautiful country South Africa deserve to be treated with respect and dignity. I can assure you that this is NOT THE IMAGE OF OUR DEMOCRATIC AND BEAUTIFUL COUNTRY!!!!
