It was only last October 2014 when everything has changed . I'm so blessed for the new changes.especially for the kindness of the new consul. You would see the faces of the applicNts who got their visa. All were smiling bec they knew that they submitted all the documents that they need to submit. So to all are are just new applicants you don't know the sacrifices and all the bad experiences that we encountered before. Yes.. Ms. custodio should be kind now to do her job as a clerk ... not as a boss. Shei's learning her lessons now.. I hope so !!

Thank you
We want to express our gratitude to you Ms Custodio, for the efficient, and professional manner in which you and your department processed the visa application for our daughter-in-law. We will never forget your kindness, and the consideration that you showed her throughout the whole process. Thank you, and may God bless you always.

A big Thank you to Ms. Leila Custodio
I was very tense and scared in my first visit to the embassy because of what i read in the site mostly are negative. But when i start to approach Ms. Leila she was very helpful indeed. She spoke very clear in a soft voice and she assisted me very well on my application. If she treated me very nice why she treated you people not the same way she did to me? I wonder if how did you approach her because me, i was just being respectful and i didn't demand like i am her boss. We need her to do something for us so we must treat her nice and show her our respect!
Anyway, Ms Leila Custodio, thank you very much for all your help, i can't believe that i can see my daughter earlier than expected! And thats because of you. God bless you!!! More power to you!

Very bad attitude of Leila Custodio and embassy guards
Such a shame that Filipino staff and guards at the South African Embassy have such bad attitudes. I wonder why they are being tolerated. Such staff gave a bad taste to the South Africans and to Filipinos. I hope the South African Ambassador will do something about them. Thank you.

Rude, Incompetent and Unprofessional Leila Custodio
It's surprising that the embassy retains the services of this rude clerk who is acting like she's the boss whenever she talks rudely to the applicants. May ganang sumbatan ang mga pumupunta sa embassy at pagsabihan ng "reklamo kayo ng reklamo, dapat tumahimitk nalang kayo". She's also a liar, saying she called but the applicant wasn't answering. She's got the nerve to listen during the interviews and tell the apolicants afterwards that she shouldn't have said things that would make her look bad.

The required document was submitted 3 months back but there was no record that they recieved it.. This is gross incompetence for a fronliner, putting peoples chances for a visa on hold when they could have reunited with their loved ones in South Africa earlier if not for her/their shortcomings! With the new consul, it's with the hope that she'll be relieved from her position and from the embassy as a whole as she is a bad representation to its image, adding to the hardships and anxiety of people and increasing posibilities of further incompetence.
