Leila Custodio is the Worst!
Come on guys! Don't just complain here, they'll never see it and they don't care! Tell the South Africa embassy directors in charge of the Philippines what kind of treatment LEILA CUSTODIO is giving us.

LEILA CUSTODIO is the worst and incompetent public service worker I have ever had to deal with ... enough said!

I called over 20 times during a Tuesday asking for Visa processing to ask a question. Each time I got Leila Custodio's voicemail. Twice the phone was picked up and then hanged up immediately! After a while the operator apologized and said she didn't know why she was not picking up since she was at her office.

If she ever picks up the phone (Huge IF), she will give you false information. I finally got a hold of her the next day. I asked all the requirements and fees to make sure my application is complete. She said there were no fees ... remember this!

I arrived on Monday at 8:45am, 15 minutes before 9am as she instructed. They didn't open their window until 9:40am! I saw her and another clerk chatting for the past 30 minutes. After they finally open, she took around 45 minutes to deal with the two people in front of me. Both times she was a little rude, but not as bad as other stories here.

When it was my turn she didn't look at me or say one word. Just looked at my application, then said "You have to provide cash deposit of P35,000 reimbursable." What?! I told her when I called a month before she did not mention there would be a deposit. "If you read the requirements you will see." "That's why I called to ask before, to make sure I don't miss anything." "Well you did and your application is void. Come back again when you have P35,000." What kind of treatment is that? I completely cancelled my trip, I was so pissed.

South Africa ambassador, you have a sorry Filipina working for you! Thanks to her I will probably never see your beautiful country. Such a disgrace! LEILA CUSTODIO, for karma for the way you treat us, you would probably never be approved for a visa anywhere. Pity, I wish we could ship YOU to another country!

NAKAKAUBOS NG PASENSYA!!!!!! PATHETIC BITCH!!!!!!!!!!!!
another Victim of Leila Custodio's unprofessionalism, i don't think you are capable of working in the Embassy. You either don't know the procedure or you just want to make everything difficult for everyone. What's your position Consular Clerk isn't it??? your not the Ambassador so dont act like you are the decision maker. You know what w/out Filipinos and other citizen all over the world wala kang trabaho......this applicants are the one who is giving you work. So please make up your mind be nice because in South Africa I don't think the attitude of the civil servants were like you. They are so friendly, helpful and professional. WHAT WILL I SAY LEILA CUSTODIO, WAIT FOR KARMA IT WILL COME SOON.

Ang galing gumawa ng mga positive comments.. at mukhang impossible naman at kabaligtaran ang mga sinasabing magaganda tungkol sa embassy. Don't believe them... Gawa Gawa Lang nila agency lang ang ginagawan ng visa.... halata naman.. may makukuha kayo sa kanila . Yung mga taong kumpleto requirements ayaw. Nyo bigyan.

IF YOU WANT RESPECT YOU SHOUL RESPECT YOUR APPLICANT
What a attitude of those staff in Manila, they are Filipino too but they are not treating their kababayan nicely, sorry to say but they are so rude and unhelpful. Am here in Southern africa, the staff are most helpful for step by step, they give you advise for each requirements you need it, but its big difference to Manila staff...Im so sad to say this but its true. S.A Manila embassy you should show your respect and good service to your kababayan, not only to foreigner or someone else that you know they are high class...change system...

All I can say is all the negative comments here are true. I've experienced everything that you've shared about the embassy. From the phone calls, emails and the attitude of the staffs and even to asks questions ..they don't like to answer. So what's the purpose why they're working in the embassy if they will not assist us and help us? So embarrassing because I'm a filipino too. I pitied those people who went to the embassy for how many times bec they would say..will call you...not yet done...will get back to you..so on and so forth. What's the purpose of giving us the schedule? So pathetic. If you will show to them that your mad etc..they would say that your rude or no respect...hahhahahaha .They will not get respect unless they will show respect to the applicants.Very unprofessional!!!!!And whoever posting good comments about the embassy...you are FAKE and LIAR!!!
