Rude servise
people working in sa embassy in philippines are rude specially the lady i don't know her name, my sister call today, but this lady keep putting her on hold and wen she try to call again and asking about her visa the lady put the phone down. Before my sister call we call this embassy and they saying they not talking to 3rd person asking for a visa thats why we ask our sister to call them but the way they treat the applicant is not good, they rude,i know the felling coz they do that to me also that coz i apply 1 time, and imagine they given date to my sister to collect her visa on 28april and they taken her no and saying they will call once visa is done, but till now we haven't received any call. i think they need new person in this embassy, they feel that they Big People thats why they rude, ah ah ah girl you need to put ur feet down , don't wait for karma!!!!

Professional Servíces
Hi, If you experience any visa processing maybe in Manila or other countries, just discuss ur matter with RSA Head of Department in Pretoria and they will resolve your matter with the Iñcharge Ambassador, or Apply your visa on ur arrival to ORTambo International Airport if it is possible.. I have a girl friend in Cebu and I dont think i will get a problem on that to bring her to Mzansi...

The worst Embassy
I have been to the embassy 4 times on each time, l meet Stephan Third secretary to someone, he is the worst rude and really does not know what he is saying, l explained to him l had to go to SA to see my sick mother, the fourth time he told me he DOES NOT CARE ABOUT MY MOTHER, all l wanted was a visa to enter the country, as my mother got sick there while travelling, in SA. He does no know what he is doing, told me l had to respect him, because he was the Third secretary, the last time l went, l brought a friend of mine who is a Zulu from SA, he was shocked and full of shame, really does no one read these comment, up until today lm still waiting for a appointment after sending emails well 3 emails and l rand 4 times, thank God my brother flew from London and is with my mother - hey thanks Stephan l hope one day you want to apply for a English visa and get treated as bad as l was....

APPLICANTS and YOU in the embassy
FOR THE APPLICANTS:

please ask for list of requirements that you need for the visa you are going to apply for *and tell Leila your situation so that she wont "FORGET" anything "important" that she's supposed to tell you... it's never easy to go back and forth to Makati City to submit a requirement each time she asks you for 1 (esp. when you already think it's complete).

dont waste your time sending them an email or trying to call for enquiries coz i think their computers and phones there function for that!

please be ready for the guard who is worse than a K9 if you piss him off or else he's gonna bark at you in front of the other people.

if you want to complain, dont piss them off coz they will BAN you from entering the embassy.

FOR YOU people working in the embassy:

instead of covering up the comments here, why dont you just answer the emails that the applicants send to you?! that way, it will lessen the number of people complaining about how you do your job.

and HOW on earth could you say that respect is important inside your premises when YOU who are working there dont seem to know and/or show that to your applicants?????

Pathetic service
I wonder if anyone besides the actual embassy read these pages and complaints? Thank you to the previous posters for giving me email addresses to direct my displeasure and frustration to regarding this embassy.

I have never before in my life been treated so poorly by supposed officials representing any other country in the world whose embassies I have had to attend whilst travelling. The South African government needs to get rid of the entire staff at this embassy who are an embarassment to such a wonderful country.

RUDE, ARROGANT, DISRESPECTFUL, USELESS, PATHETIC...just some of the words I will use to describe the staff (i use that term loosely) in this embassy.

AVOID at all costs if you can.
