Extra pages
Is it possible to have an extra page added to my passport? I've applied for a UK tourist visa and realized that I need an extra page! I currently work in Thailand and urgently need this done.
Thanx

RSA Passports
I was under the impression that South Africa Dept. of Home Affairs got their services improved.
However, I applied for a replacement passport on 6 January 2016.
Now it is already more than 4 months; and on repeatedly enquiries - e-mails - the only info I got was pure complete silence. No tracking number. No replay. No verification. No acknowledgment.
Just absoluut nothing.
South Africa is the only country in the world where people has to wait the best part of a half a year to get a replacement passport.
It is really quite beyond my understanding.
Last month, I took a friend to Bangkok for Thai passport - Same day.
In Cambodia it takes a week.
In Myanmar a month.
Malaysia 3 days.
Singapore 1 day.
I really think South Africa is still going backwards.
15 years ago it use to be a month; but you still got it anything between 1 and 3 weeks.

Registration of South African marriage in Thailand
My Wife (Thai national) and I will be returning to Thailand for a holiday this month. Can you advise what my wife and I will require in order for our South African marriage to be registered in Thailand and for her to change her passport and Thai ID documents to her new married surname.? – what documents do we need to bring with and what will the process be?

Also she is concerned that once her surname is changed she will not be able to purchase property etc. in Thailand. I have explained to her that it should not make a difference as she is a Thai national, but she would like to have the assurance from you that she will still be able to do this under her new married name.
