I had a very good experience at the Consulate of Mexico in Detroit. Went to get a Visa and brought the doc. need per the directions found on this web site. I arrived 15 min early (per the directions) and was immediately helped. about 1 hour later I was out the door with my visa placed inside my USA passport.
BUT... after arriving home I found my name was miss- spelled. That brings me back to this sight to make a new appointment. All 4 people who helped me were kind and very helpful. Just a typo....
It sickens me how rude people are who work at the Detroit consulate not only to me but everyone there. This place is dirty, small and don't have enough seating for people. Even if you make an appointment expect to be there 4 or 5 hrs. No communication what so ever so you never know what's going on with your paperwork. Had an unfortunate bad experience. Hope they change this place and make it a better environment for future applicants

Is there a Mexican Notary Public at the Consulate that the public can use?
