Hi , I would like to have the social security tranfered to a european bank in romania where me and my wife have residence, right now my SS goes to an US bank but to withdrawn money from a Us bank are fees. we have sign up to a local bank in Europe and got this bank aproval to receive. Do i need to go to any US consulate for this, or what i have to do if right now i am outside the USA...
My wife and I are planning to stay in Portugal for a year or two.
Could you tell us where to find out what the requirements are?
