Dear Sirs,
My question concerns the private import of Swedish food items for Christmas.
Salted herring , Edam Cheese, marinated herring, gingerbread cookies. The food items are all individually sealed and packed by the distributor in Sweden. ( plastic and steel packaging). Only small packages.
Am I allowed to bring these items in my baggage into the US? ( for private use in the US)

.....America. This is for anyone reading this but for Americans, who are suffering the "American dream" turned nightmare.
We all know what America is all about and what damage she does to the world at large. After the Nazi Germany's misdeeds, America is the worst nation/country/govt in the world as far as the damage and suffering they inflicted upon this Planet and its people.
Even it's own people. Latest facts:
American middle class is declining and as of this moment only 50% belong to this class with only $73.000 as their yearly income. This has come down from 61% only a decade before and trending towards the abyss of poverty for all. The aggregate income they command is only 29% vs 50% a decade earlier.
The poverty rate is about 30%-40% and they get to keep only 10% of yearly income., which leaves 20% of Americans living their dream (includes the 1% with their super dream).They command 60% of income and their income has increased by 700% in the last decades while all the others have seen their incomes go down significantly., Poverty in America? Yes, big time.
Now compare this to your own, Swedish situation., Are you not happy living here? Of course you are and never, never,never, ever get an idea to even visit let alone move to America.
It is over for them. All is left for them to reach a critical mass of poverty stricken population to explode in a biggest socio-economic explosion in the history of the world.
Europe, save yourself from American hegemony while you can. Expel them from Europe, for they do not belong there and make Europe a truly united continent from Atlantic to Ural mountain.
Beware of English speaking counties, they are bad news for all.

Your hosts, the Swedish govt and people are suffering badly. Why? Simple. Their noble Nobel Prize org. has made a huge and terrible mistake, that only you the American govt and people can make it right and relieve the suffering of these wonderful people and their equally wonderful country.
The Nobel Peace Prize is one of the most coveted and the hardest to decide who to give it to. The criteria is so non-scientific that the Nobel Prize committee, can easily make a mistake. Not in cases of , say medicine or even literature. There you have facts that are facts and if they are of Nobel Prize material, you get the prize.
As we all remember, the Nobel Peace Prize was given to your newly elected president Obama, to then surprise of the whole world. It was a pleasant surprise at the time, in fact. All the good people of the world who saw the nasty, never seen more brutal American admin. as WG's, were simply overwhelmed by Obama's victory and the hope he represented. So were the Nobel Prize people, who in turn gave him NPP, thinking he "deserves" it just on the fact he defeated someone who would replace GW, which was a worse nightmare for the World and America, of course. They also put their hope into his administration that he will bring about peace in the world, as he promised during his road to presidency.
Fine, we were all in agreement and wished him well. BUT what happened? Instead of bringing peace and brotherhood to the wold, he continued with warmongering and war making of GW. As of today, we have more wars than when GW left the office (we know his wars and millions of deaths)and seemingly more to come. What happened? It is easy to give an answer. No president of America can ever stay away from wars, for it is in the blood of that nation and its govts. Thus no American president can possibly qualify for this wonderful recognition called Nobel Peace Prize.
So please do the right thin; start the initiative in USA to force your president to return the NPP to wonderful people and country of Sweden, thus relieve them from pain and shame they rightfully feel. They made a terrible mistake, let's correct it and move on.
The world and Sweden would be grateful.
Ps: Te Swedish govt and Nobel Prize people are so polite and decent, that in spite of knowing they made a mistake, would not take it back. Certainly they have discussed it and made a pledge it WILL NEVER HAPPEN AGAIN.

My passport was stolen in Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic. I am going to fly to Sweden 22/3. They say that it could be problem at the airport because of that I fly via New York. How to do? I have Carta de Ruta from the Swedish consulat but no passport.
