Donated goods for Kenyan Children
I am one of three ladies who work with children at Marimani Kindergarten & Shanzu Good Hope School. We had a container sent full of donated items from the British public, Desks, stools, books, toys, bikes etc. this arrived 14th March while we were there. The container is still on the docks, letter after letter is being sent to the Minister of Finance in Nairobi and numerous visits to the Ministry of Gender in Mombasa
The goods were listed as donated items, not for
re-sale. As long as these goods stand there costs will incur. We are trying to help the children, while there in March we built a new school for the kindergarten and a new septic tank for Shanzu hopefully preventing disease when the rains come. Can you please assist us in any way to try and get the goods released?
If you can assist in any way I will supply you with information of our clearing agent who has now spent 4 weeks on this case.
I look forward to a favourable reply.
