can someone clear this for me i heard that once your partner is here for five years or i think two years you can not apply for a council house? if you do then your partner will be sent back to their country? cos someone told me that the bhc dont want the person to be on goverment funding, does that apply for a council house too that ur being funded?

anisa
you are incorrect Anisa:
The processing time begins when the UK Border Agency or one of our commercial partners (VFS Global and WorldBridge), has received your completed application form, with your passport and supporting documents, your biometrics registration and the relevant application fee. It ends after a decision has been taken on your application and your passport is available for collection.

yeah that is true cos before the new rule about ones work thresh hold the parliment did not set out how much money or income wage u needed to have or earn per year in order to call ur spouse.thats good that it was before the new rules otherwise we would have been stuck.now a days you cant even find work forget about finding a job that meets the new rule wage.
