Dear sir/ madam - I'm a practicing freelance travel journalist with regular articles being placed in titles such as: Sunday Times, Country Life, Weekend Argus, Weekend Post, Offroad & Adventure SA and a number of others. I'm also the author of two books on the Karoo, one of which (Circling the Great Karoo) is a best seller in its category - see www.springbokpress.co.za I would greatly appreciate if you could include me on any upcoming media tours to Spain in exchange for which I would write a number of articles and use my network to try and get them all published. Please advise if this is something your Trade and Tourism office may be interested in.

Dear Beverly (re: your comment Mon 23 Aug 2010), this site has nothing to do with Spain or with anyone issuing visas. I know you probably found it by googling for Spanish Visas, but it just a collection of adverts and copies of information you can get from the original sources on the web. Sadly this is the way the internet is going, but as you can see, no-one here is going to be any help.
I am writing to ask if my above-mentioned friends can please have their visas done immediately as they are leaving in two weeks to visit me in Spain - I have already sent my letter of invitation (notarized) to invite them for September and October - this is not a first visit - they have visited me on numerous occasions. They are beside themselves with worry as they have already paid for their tickets, health insurance etc. and this seems to be taking months. I shall be most grateful for attention to their visas.
