Hi ,is embassy open today .. Heard it's closed due to election in Delhi . My sis 's visitor visa was applied on 20th march . Still waiting . I live in Durban .. Can't do anything from here . Pls update

Hello all Jan and Feb applicants, pl keep updating on the permit status ....whatever information you may have...Unfortunately 1st May and 7th May are holidays so that will break the momentum a bit at the SA High commission...

Surendhar, if you applied for vistors visa you may get it this or next week hopefully as 1st May again is a holiday. It seems their current speed is to clear 3 days of applications in a day in Delhi.

Please approach to Pretoria to get the clarification of the file.

I dnt live in Mumbai..bt i hav visited VFS Mumbai on 31st March to submit expedition request letter.And its been told to me..(both by VFS and by colleagues of my husband) that the applications are sent to Pretoria for verificatn..may b the extra time taken can be accounted to the fact that my husbands Visa was applied from SA

Maruti: I called today at Mumbai Consulate..they said January aplications are under process.It will take one or two more weeks..I m nt in position to post updates from Delhi.If ur c hecking the status from VFS site, it shows the initial status also ie.the applicatn is submitted ie recvd at wich office.so kindly make it sure abt status.
