I applied on 9th april 2014 for dependent visa for south africa. I am still waiting for it..May I know some status of the tentative dates of recieving the visa??
Sunny- your update of Jan permits to be issued by 15th May is encouraging.As and when you recieve your permit, pl also indicate the date you submitted.Some positive developments that atleast things are moving in the high commission in the last 7 days.Only the holidays in between are killing.Today and again on 7 May:(

Maruthi , soumya pattanaik is talking about work permit which is not been stamped yet and will be done this week so most probably will be done by the end of May , I know you wish to help my friend but every one is under lot of pressure as you are but if some wrong information will create more uncertainty in other person mind hope you understand

I think its getting too late , you must call to VFS and find out , because if you applied in New Delhi, Visas has been issued end of the March, you should get the visa by now

submitted my visa on jan 26th...its been almost 3 months ..still no updates

Since yours is a visit Visa and you hav applied at Delhi(which is more promt in service as compared to Mumbai office) I expect u will get Visa in time.Bt then too is u want submit an expedition letter to VFS Global office inn person or thru representative with clearly mention date of travel.All the best
