INQUIRY ON TRANSIT VISA REQUIREMENT
The South African High Commission,
Maseru, Lesotho

Dear Sir,
I am a civil engineer from Bangladesh working in Lesotho. I have come to know today that in order to travel by air to Bangladesh through Johannesburg, we do not require a transit visa to South Africa anymore. I will not enter South Africa, I just intend to pass through its airport. In that case do I need a transit visa?
Please confirm.
Thank you for the answer.
