Corruption
Dear Sir/Madam,
Mozambique is a beautiful country and visited by thousands of South Africans including myself. The corruption problem in the police, border officials etc.is becoming very alarming and many South Africans are now refraining to go there. This problem excisted for many years and now getting even worse. Can the authorities not remedy this problem???We want to enjoy our visits in peace!!!

Mozambique visit 2014/03
We have just come back from mozambique. We had absolutely no problems at all. we walked around the streets of maputo in the night..visiting the different restaurants...the people were friendly. The only worst part was the police...absolutely corrupt...you have to carry separate money to pay them. the police will find any excuse to detain you. also dont entertain the roadside vendors..unless you really want to buy something...they are really persistent and can seem intimidating. If you obey the rules of the country there will be no problems. Enjoy.....
