SOUTH AFRICAN NATIONAL ARRESTEDIN LUANGWA
Dear Sir
My husband, Wilhelmus Nicolaas Maria van den Berg (Dutch Passport #NYFRDK34) has just been arrested at our lodge – Bridge Camp on Feira Road, Luangwa.
The charge is allegedly Economic Sabotage.
To the best of my knowledge he has been taken to Luangwa Town Police Station but the officials would not give me any further information.
My husband asked me to notify your Embassy/Consulate and to enlist any help you may be able to give.
We had no warning about this. Your advice would be greatly appreciated.

My husband’s cell number is: 0979 180475 but I do not know if he will be allowed to keep the phone with him.
Thanking you in anticipation of your assistance.

Yours faithfully
Lindsay van den Berg

Martins drift immigration oficers are very corrupt
At martins drift,we as zambians we are having a problem with this man called peter, all the people at martins drift border are corrupt every time they want money for them to give you some days, unless if you pay them then they give you a month. Now is this the way life should be for us as zambians?what have we done to deserve all the tribulations they put us through?am a person who was returned back to zambia I have a fine of R1000 and I was willing to pay from there instead they refused for me to pay, after asking a question like "why can't I pay at this place " mr peter had no answer to that ,instead he started pushing me out as if am a criminal without even considering the distance traveled. And the other fellow man was returned be couse he paid from beitbridge and that he didn't have the receipt for the payment,he asked mr peter to insert his passport in a passport device so that it shows if he paid or not and he refused. These people are heartless and cruel for us zambian for I will make sure that something must be done justice is all we need we are all blacks and all in africa it begins with you and am not happy at all for we did not come to take any ones position or food and money instead, we transport goods and bring service its commerce. Imagine if south africa can't have foreigners, then what is the job for the immigration officers? Totally nothing, its same as a world without color and without music," imagine".
