Money orders / Bank statement
According to my understanding and the information availed to me at the time of application. Any of the three listed below can be submitted to show proof of sufficient financial means for csv application.
1. Three months bank statement in the name of the applicant, stamped by the bank with a closing balance of min $300. Dont just deposit the $300 and park the money there for three months, the statement must show transcations taking place.
2. Three months Bank statement from the sponsor showing monthly income of R8500 or more. Sponsor to include certified copy of Passport/Work Permit/ID and undertaking to support the applicant.
3, Money Orders minimum value of R3000. SA post does issue these.

hey guys its one of the 2 bank statement or money order.your bank statement should not be more than 7 days old by the time of submission and it should be stamped on every page from the bank otherwise its just 1 thing .so if your bank statement is not in that order it will be rejected,unless you are saying this is a 2017 new requirement that i don't know

@ Kelvin l had a 3 months bank statement in my name with more than r3000.
@ Grace so you saying on top of the 3months bank statement l need to also submit a money order.
