Company follow up , in my opinion I think it's because the processing time it's now taking long. So, they do have to confirm if the intended company still wants your services since in most cases the start date on the contract will have surpassed .
the embassy has also learnt of fake offers so the need to take verification seriously. if you note very well applications with no job offers take a shorter period that those with offers

seems like the embassy in Harare is now verifying work offers more .it was not the case when I applied mine last year.hence the delays I guess

Mrng guys, I have permit already but what other requirements i need for me to apply for works permit and where i will apply. How long it will take
I dont understand how they expect job offers to still be waiting after so many months. Can I at least get my passport while I wait?
Should we rather write a petition or lodge a complaint against Zimbabwe SA embassy somewhere, these delays are not ok. At least they should update their website to say processing time is 10 months so that they don't raise expectations and potential employers also know this.
Something has to change.
someone in this group once asked or said its impossible for the whole embassy to leave previous applications and jump into new applications. I can now say its possible, how can we November verification done after February application verification
