@Grace
Your explanation is the most plausible explanation I have heard in a long time Not even the VFS people have explained as good as you have! Thank you

Relatives Visa
Guys has any one ever got to understand why the Visas which were applied for well before the Study Visa Season have still not been processed by now? Does it mean since August last year the priority was Study Visas only?

@Nandi
I submitted my visa 17 july and got it in december. What it means is that the visas are 5 months behind so July was issued in Nov-Dec, By then study visas were already being submitted, embassy stopped main stream visas because study visas are a priority and there is no other way study visas can be done earlier than september, because students get acceptance letters in September.Someone once advised that best time to submit visa at the embassy is between now and july.

Relative Visa
Veronica replies but I think the main problem is in the SA Embassy in Harare. That is where all the problems are. They seem not to care at all! No response, non at all. I have a feeling that some passport are lost, because the level of ignoring is very alarming. People lets pray that our elections produce good results and all these nightmares will be over. The VFS office will close! Nobody will go there for anything. Is there a VFS in Botswana? Is there a VFS in Namibia? Is there a VFS in Swaziland? ZIP. Why in Zimbabwe? Its just a cash cow! The poorer you are the more chances you get exploited. Lets fix our country! I am tired of this poor and rubbish business. 6 months processing a Spousal VISA! its Cruel!
