I email that company as it advertised work in my field of study. I received an email from them saying i have been approved. I have to start work on the 15 nov. I then received an appointment letter which i accepted. An amount of $580 was requested in order for me to received all the listed items for me to be courriered to my location. I found it doddge so i requested a company registration number and they send it back to me. I then applied to another mining company then i received an email that a fee should be paid for the verification and authentication of my documents which i had send them. The south african company who does due deligience charge this amount. Is it true that a fee is required to be paid to a company for processing of details?
Guys, I have lived and worked here in South Africa since 2007.To the best of my knowledge, no South African company would advertise job opportunities in that manner. it's a scam being operated by Nigerians and Cameroonians;sometimes even Ghanaians are involved.
The first requirement for a work permit in S.A is a "contract of employment" which is given to you by the prospective company.
Then you need:
1.a radiology report
2.Police clearance
3.an evaluation of all your qualifications done by SAQA
With all this i believe you're good to go.

Barns should be spelled BARNES (and this guy was arrested for fraud on all construction done by him).

It seems this company has a lot of loopholes about it, indeed it sounds too true, the cash proposed is like a worm on a hook to lur an capture us in. Somethings realy dodgey as I too saw the sum of $580 wanted for processing the listed details yet they said they I'd take care of funds n how they expecting such where as we not working #rediculouse!!
What they are doing is so wrong because some people were so happy and thankful to God that they got a job only to find out that there is no company called Barns in Ghana these whoever who is behind this will be punished!

I to have been told i have a job with them, red flagged it when i googled Barns Mining and construction and there is no information on them, no pictures. I have had a Yellow Fever injection it lasts for 10 years ,I dont need one for another ( years. They insist they want $200 for me to have another one . Never in this life time.
