I ma married to a girl who is a US citizen and has familoy in Ghana. She recently returned to Ghana as her mother is quire ill. Upon arrival she found that her father had left her a bar of gold as a dowery. She was told that a Certificate of ownership must be obtained through the legal system for her to be able to seel the gold, deposit the money in a bank, and wire it to me. Is this even possible and what is the procedure to accomplish this. Through an attorney what is the approx. cost of obtaining a CerfTificate of title. From my understanding the brick weighs approx 40 lbs and at the present price of gold that puts the value at approx 860.000$. Can this amount of money be wired from Ghana to the US without duty. According to my banker heere I was told that they have seen up to 4 million dollars wired with no duties. Please advise and send whatever information is available

the offer is posted on my email via job space. scam or not?
Its a job scam. They ask you to pay money for the courier to send you your travel documents. And when you search the company on ghana directories they dont excist. And they say they are doing services for the last 20 years. So really.. Dont think so.
Hey Steve. Would like to know, ive been reading previous comments on other companies. People say its a confirmed scam but you say you are resuming duties. And the company doesnt pop up on google when its searched.
