Dual Passport
Hello

I have previously sent an email regarding the attainment of a dual passport only to not have received a reply.
I wish to enquire as to how I may apply for a portuguese passport as I wish to move to Europe for an extended period of time. I am a born Australian citizen with both parents being born in Portugal and are still currently Portuguese citizens. What documentation to I require and must I book a time at the consulate in order to begin the process?
Any further information on the process would be greatly appreciated

Kind regards,

Allen

visa question
Hello. I am an Australian citizen living in Portugal. I am moving back to Australia (Sydney) in early 2015. My friend has interest in moving there as well but she is Portuguese. She is currently single, 31years of age (born October4th 1983),has no children. Has a degree in forensic psychology and a masters in criminal psychology.
What is the easiest and cheapest way for her to get a visa to be able to work in Australia?!? I ask (cheapest) because from what we have looked at the amount of money she would need to aquire a visa + other expenses in relation to that would amount up to close to 5000€!!!! And as you might know, that is about 1years salary (if you don't spend any money at all) since minimum wage here is under 500€ a month (before taxes, etc).
Could you please help?!?
Thank you

Family History
When researching my family history I have discovered a relative who was named Manuel Jose and the birth certificates of his children list Caviell, or Cosvel, or Caevell Western Islands as his birth place. He would have been born in approx 1830 but I can not find a village of this name listed in the Azores Islands. Can anyone direct me to a source where I can solve this puzzle?

Borned in Timor Leste, can I apply for a European (Portuguese) Passport?
Hi All,
Can anyone help me with this query please.

I was borned in Timor Leste (East Timor), left the country for Macau just before the civil war.
Whilst in Macau I had Portuguese passports (issued in Macau) up until 1984 when I left Macau for Australia.

So my Portugues Passport also expired in the 1980's.

Please help: Has anyone been in this or similar situation where they had to or wanted to apply for a passport through the Consulate here in Sydney or Australia?

If yes, what documents are required, the time it would take the fees etc please?

Any information you can provide would be much appreciated.

Thanks and regards

FT
