Well Kajal the time for birth registration takes 12-14 months now. So your birth will be ready only in Sept-Oct 2019, then post that you have 2-3 months to register your marriage, then another 12-14 months for your child's birth. (so it would not be ready before the March 2019 deadline)

EU citizens will be able to enter the UK until the transition in dec 2020 but the rules will change and no one knows how post March 2019 wrt residency in the UK for EU citizens.
I recommend following the UK news and the deal via BBC and other uk govt sites to know what will be the status for EU citizens during the transition period till Dec 2020. (you can always take your kid on an EU family visa once your passport is ready and wait till his passport is ready)

There are 27 other EU countries to go and live and work with the EU passport.

Well once you get your BI, you can apply for the passport appointment the same day (Passport takes around 3-4 weeks to get done, you need to email them on week 3 and ask if it ready and go collect it).

Now for the Exit visa, it took me 30 days to get it via the FRRO Mumbai. Some people get it in lesser time because the part which there is a delay is the local police station verification.

You need to cancel your voter id and ration card
(both can be done in 1 -2 days) for the Surrender certificate and exit visa docs ( surrender certificate takes 1 day at the BKC office after online application and payment if you are lucky)

You can definitely make the March 2019 deadline with an exit visa done by jan end or feb start. Do the OCI once you are in the UK.

CRC-email
My friend Denzil
My case is of 64
I have no contact with the lawyer since my case is handled by an agent. The last message was that verification is completed only waiting for the Nascimento.
I have not been given the registration number. Regularly following up with my agent.
I thought CRC would respond hence wrote to them.

It is true all Portugal embassies send the nationality applications to CRC lisbon and at CRC some officials may be handling goan cases while others may be expert in brazilian, zimbabwe, etc countries. So I think goan cases are handled by some experienced and expert officials at CRC and so does as for other countries. For pre-1961 cases, births in Goa are recorded by the Portuguese officials in Portuguese language only. So here there can be no hera-pheri. The cheating is done by MEA on the people of GOA. It wants to kill the Goan dream of acquiring Portuguese passport (EUROPEAN PASSPORT) by any means. It is silently doing this without getting noticed.

CRC email - Vanessa
-your post is not clear. it is post 61 or pre 61?

- have you followed up the issue with your agent in Goa or lawyer in Portugal?

- CRC hardly reply any emails.

- it cannot take that long. something wrong where.

what does your agent or lawyer says? have you follow-up every week to find out or …?

If this is post 61 case and you have already registered your fathers, mothers assentos and marriage in portugual. Your birth assento will take 12-14 months from the date of application if all the names match and no divergence in the documents.

Kajal
Your question is very vague. Have you applied for your mothers assento ? is it pre 1961 birth ? Those take around 2 years plus. Post that you need to apply for her marriage assento, then your birth, then your marriage assento and then your son finally. Minimum 3 tp 3.5 years for all process to happen.
While the UK will be out of the EU in March 2019 and then the transition period till 2020 where no one know the rules for EU citizens if they can stay in the UK permanently.

Anon
Those processes are Brazilian mainly. Problem is all embassies send their cases to Lisbon CRC and many Goan cases are also in the same line of files but Goa cases are treaty differently due to verification with Delhi (Brazilian documents are all in Portuguese and hence their verification is quicker than our processes)
