Comments on this Consulate-General
Inquired at the consulate and there are over thousand Cartao applicants in April itself. They grant ten appointments a day. It should take five months to finish April Cartao appointments
I’m the applicant and my marriage registration needs to be done. My wife’s birth certificate has her maiden name and her passport and Aadhar card has changed after marriage I.e. my surname. Does she require to change her passport and Aadhar card to her maiden name or will it be accepted? Please help
Thank you for yr post about appointments....very clear information for everyone waiting for appointments in the dark....
Yes I had applied on twenty second June .. the first day when the consulate re opened..once I get the appointment means you ppl will get soon… currently they are doing of seventeenth april..one of my friends got last week ..
I have a question please.
what if a Portuguese citizen spouse expires, can the non Portuguese spouse apply for citizenship? The kids are also Portuguese citizens except for the alive spouse. So will the non Portuguese spouse need to return from a EU country on the death of Portuguese spouse since the non Portuguese spouse is a dependent? or can they apply for Portuguese citizenship basis marriage and continue living in the EU?
I noticed not too long ago that to apply for the Indian style covid passport with Covishield (which is accepted in a number of EU countries), you would have to apply for the passport online with your records already being available from the website. One is required to simply apply for the passport version on the website by entering the passport number. My concern is, once the Portuguese passport is obtained (in Goa), and your Indian passport ceases to be valid, can the Portuguese passport number be added to the website instead of the Indian one and as a result, can you obtain the covid passport? Has anyone been in this dilemma?
I applied for mine on twenty ninth June. So hopefully if one of us gets our appointment, we'll know for sure where the consulate has reached with giving appointments. I think Maria in this forum also applied for hers in late June.
Obrigado por seus comentários.
I applied in last week of June and received acknowledgement email. So waiting for appointment date.
Just upload the copy of your assento, and mention the assento number. Your Indian passport is not required.
All the required docs list for respective applications is given at the bottom of the application form page on the goa consulate website...just give the required docs copies..nothing extra...
