Dear John,

Thank you very much for taking the time and responding. This gives me a good idea for planning purposes. I will certainly try and get this done directly in Lisboa. Thanks once again and stay safe.

Sincerely,

His marriage will take around one to three months. Your birth should take a year if all the documents are in order.

Once your birth is registered, the time frame to get your Citizen Card and passport depends on where you apply for it. If Lisbon, it’ll be quicker, in any of the consulates there’s likely to be a waiting list due to coronavirus backlogs

Your parents Assento & Casemento copies. Birth certificate of yours original alongwith translation and the passport copy has to be attested by the notary, then MEA and finally the apostille. Other ID copy which is either Adhar or election card or driving license just needs notary. For Apostille there is a agency named superb attestion & travels, just Google them & they will do your work fast.
