I managed to go to archives & in a little while I got three documentos of my grandparents. I am very happy. I got to see the old photos of my grandparents and parents. It was emotional. Seeing the old times. I will go again to check for other extended family just for a memory. Do minors get registered on the documento of their parents itself without a seperate documento? As my mother was with my grandmothers documento. Thanks everyone for the help.

Vaz and Vas is the same surname. It is just like (Bardes and Bardez) or (Luiza and Luisa) or (De Sousa and De Souza) or (Isabel and Izabel)

Also it is not your agent who made the mistake during generation of Assento. Only CRC does the generation of Assento. And since both the surnames are the same, the CRC official generated it as Vaz, which is not an issue.

You won't have an issue at the time of BI appointment as both the surnames are same.
So while filling the online appointment form just put your surname as Vaz, since Vaz is your surname mentioned on your Assento. And upload the same Indian passport which has your surname as Vas.

The Goa consulate will approve your appointment without an issue. There is no need for any correction of your Assento or divergence certificate.

On my assento my surname is registered as Vaz instead of vas and my father's surname as vas.ie correct. So i wanted to know before BI appointment is it possible to correct assento. My agent not giving me divergence certificate as he is not allowing me to enter his office also.
