Thank you so much Raymond. just a quick question, would I still need a schengen visa to travel if I have my assent? and anybody knows any good travel agency in UAE who could help me out with it.
sure agree with you, atleast people truly eligible for citizenship wont be harrassed anymore. I think however DNA is not practical.
Can anyone help me my birth registration is 15th November 2016 and the process number is 73103/2016. Can you give me the update
@Peter
Embassy of Portugal service is very bad. They do not attend any phone calls inspite of repeated calls.
Even they do not bother to respond to any emails.
The best thing is to visit them and follow up with them personally or meet the consular

Hi Agnelo,
You have to ask yr agent the process no to make sure he has submitted yr process.
Wonder if our agent is the same, pls msg me on 91 688 123 69
Thanks.
My agent didn't tell me d process no.he only told dat he forwarded it on 26 July 2016. He also tells me to hav patience. Let's hope for d best bro.
I'd suggest you take a flight to Lisbon and apply for it. Then apply for the passport and collect it at the airport. You'll get it in under a week. There's no other choice unless you're willing to waste a lot of time.
At the Abu Dhabi consulate you'll first have to get an appointment. Looking at google reviews they seem to be quite bad.
