I hope you filled and attached everything properly? Email the consualte and tell then that you have applied for a BI appointment and tell them when give them the details, if they want you to apply again then only do so..
WhAt to do if no response from consulate for BI appointment
Iff yours is post 1961 then it should have been done by now unless your birth is not verificable online then there can be a delay.
My papers post 1961 applied Jan 2017 , last month I checked on status the CRC replied that currently dec 2016 papers are analyzed and mine is Jan 2017 . Now after 1 month I have been sending emails to CRC no response . Is it that my papers are being analyzed and only once analyzed they would respond can someone shed some light on it
Manuel Ferns - THANKS FOR THE INFORMATION
You can continue owing all your property in India even after obtaining Portuguese citizenship. Nothing will change on your property documents. You are only barred from owning agricultural/orchard land. If you do, then please consult your local advocate on how to handle this asset.
Having your OCI registration done at the earliest will also offer peace of mind when it comes to managing your assets, banking, tax returns etc.

To be clear, that rat is none other than ROY. Avoid his advice at all costs as he will only mislead you.
John from Monaco will offer some useful tips.
But I recommend if you can offer all your questions, clearly in a single post. I will also offer to help.

If anyone seeks answers to thier questions then i would suggest you to use one name because by choosing different names your not going to get different answers. I dont see why you have to hide behind names?
I smell a rat on this forum!
