Thanks Jeremy
I'm not in Goa, but I have sent an e-mail to them asking for the right procedure.
Hope they reply.
Tried calling them, no one picks.
off course you have to go through the FRRO its all online now. In your case you have tow choices apply for a normal visit visa or exit permit. You can either call their office or visit their office personally. You being an indian should know well how our government offices work!
Applied for all three separately.
You have done it just like I did.
I got my Citizen card.
If you are staying in Goa, you can go there personally and find out the reason for the declined email..or else try calling them.up..
All the best.
Received the below reply that my appointment has been declined.
I had applied for 3 appointments with the same email address for myself and my 2 minor kids.
Do I have to apply for all 3 in one single appointment by uploading all 3 assento or send out separate apppintments with 3 different e-mail address.
Please help me.

CGP – Goa
NOTE – Please read the instructions carefully while filing the request for appointment
But how does one exit the country without involving the FRRO.
I want to leave end July. So have to apply only by July 1.
Can I stay on the country from may to July without any visa ?
And this visa thing is unique of the Portuguese passport holders. Others are those who travel from abroad or their children born here.
I thought I would get help here as I am hitting a roadblock with FRRO even their website doesn't have anything for citizens who have given up Indian citinship and taken a foreign nationality.
Those who have, have done it abroad itself and the process is much faster there
If anyone has info on.the FRRO please help.
see the questions your asking no one here can answer any of them no one works for he FRRO neither this wesite belongs to the FRRO. Only they can give yoy all the right answers. Yoy should have applied for a exit permit if you wanted to leave immediately.
All.i am.saying is FRRO hasn't got back to me.
How much time does it take to get the e try visa?
I will apply for the exit visa I. The beginning of July as I will be leaving end.of.july
If you could let me know. That would be great.
They said exit visa to apply one month before leaving.
So accordingly I uploaded the form for visa on Monday 7th may. Then on Wednesday 9th I got a reference number.
After that till now 17th...that is ten days I have not heard from FRRO. Neither the payment details are given to me.
Is this a normal scenario. When I called they said the person handling is busy. And when they checked the status the person on the phone said that it's showing the status that application is under process.
Should I make a trip to the FRRO ?
Can someone guide me on how to get the entry x1 visa quickly.
Thank you for your help.
Expect something in August 2018 keeping mind the 3 month holiday season which work will be quite slow.
MY CASE IS OF POST 1961, SUBMITED MY PAPERS MAY 17, MAILED TO CRC THEY R SAYING THEY ARE ANALYZING ONCE DONE WILL BE INFORMED, WHEN SHOULD I EXPECT MY ASCNTO???
