Please ascertain whether you can marry your niece, a french national in France. Section 163 of french civil code prohibits a marriage between uncle and niece.
Secondly, please contact your university in India and also your friends in your similar case pursuing higher studies in France. For the current year the admission of students in french universities is over, You can prepare yourself from now and submit for the next academic year necessary papers and copies of degree and mark lists with translation to the concerned french University,in Jan. 2015 It is a difficult task. my grand father born in mudaliarpet in 1872.when we approach mudaliarpetmunjicipality, they said you apply for peria pathivu from ariyankuppam.in ariyankuppam also they are telling v wont get it, u may apply in court.but to have a cross check somebody telling we can check on some website launched by french govt to check w heather my grand dad record is available or not. pl mention website.
if municipality records are not available w heather we can apply with court order.

iam balamanikandan from karaikal, pondicherry.i completed by B.tech mechanical engineering course in pondicherry engineering college.
Its a governmnt college. My relatives few of them are staying in france with french nationality.
one of my niece and i loving each other from the childhood
comming year 2015 june me and her planed for marriage.
After that i would like to work.in france as a mechanical engineer..now am having 2years of work experience also..

What r the procedures which i have to follw to get engineering job in france..

sir my father worked in legion military in france during 1953-1959.and then he was retired.he got two pensions ( medical pension and salary pension )in our pondichry consul for 10 years (1959-1969).after that the pension was stopped.wats the reason of getting pension stoped .only those who completed the full service can get the full pension till his death.sir i think only french nationality person can get pension.is it true ?i lost his nationality copie/ military documents/livret/pension proof/passports.wat i should do sir.tell me the way.

The regions which were under French rule are Pondicherry (capital), Karaikal in Tamil Nadu,, chandernagar in West Bengal, Yanam (in Andhra Pradesh near Kakinada) and Mahe (in Kerala near Tellicherry) and in addition some "loges" of which one is now called Franspeta" in Masulipatam, Andhra Proades, another near Calicut in Kerala. As a mark of good will, France handed over to Indian Union the french loges soon after India got Independence. Chandernagar in west Bengal separated from French India and merged with Indian Union in 1949. Thereafter in 1954 there was a defacto transfer of the remaining 4 towns of French India to the Indian Union on o1.11. 1954 followd by a dejure transfer on 16.08.1962 under Franco Indian treaty of 1956 which came into force on 16.08.1962. French India excluding Chandernagar, is now the Union territory of Pondicherry. Please find also some geographical details. Puducherry, original name Putucceri, formerly (until 2006) Pondicherry, also spelled Pondichéry, union territory of India. It was formed in 1962 out of the four former colonies of French India: Pondicherry (now Puducherry) and Karaikal along India’s southeastern Coromandel Coast, surrounded by Tamil Nadu state; Yanam, farther north along the eastern coast in the delta region of the Godavari River, surrounded by Andhra Pradesh state; and Mahe, lying on the western Malabar Coast, surrounded by Kerala state. a) My Grandmother was worked in pondicherry Roadiar mill factory at pondicherry.
b) My grandfather was in indian millitary only 2years after he releaved himself.

My grandmother elder sister got french nationality, through her husband worked in french india.

Sir Please advise me, we have elgibility or not and whether we can try or not.

Kindly help me. It's any possiblity to get french nationality.
