Promoting the French language
Bonjour,

I wish to ask the authorities from the french embassy to see to it that French as a subject and language is promoted. I personally love french a lot but I find it difficult to excel in it when I can hardly see its future.

I believe that with the coming of Francois Holland as president, things will change for the better.

For instance, Teachers of french used to go Reunion for language exposure and that was a big motivation. Why have you stopped supporting these teachers who are promoting this important language.

I challenge you to do a survey on the french situation in the country. There are very few schools in Zambia that are still offering the subject in Zambia.

concern about french in school

I would like to say french in schools has gone down very much. The major reason for this is that the Embassy has stopped supporting teachers of french in Zambia. How I wish we could start where we ended because this issue worries me so much how the future would be in ten years to come. we need your support as soon as possible.

I came think about how happy the French people, the person from French speaking countries living in Zambia will be to express themselves in French through the media .Let promote French in all the way, today French remain alive only in primary school music. those who can save it are fighting learning English. why can't we fight back by teaching everybody the French language?
